Heritage Rail Trail County Park

Established in 1992 and covering 176 acres, the Heritage Rail Trail County Park is 21 miles long and runs north from the Mason Dixon line just south of the Borough of New Freedom through Glen Rock, Hanover Junction, and Seven Valleys in the Howard Tunnel Colonial Courthouse in the City of York. The trail connects to Maryland’s 20-mile long Northern Central Railroad Trail.

Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks

Governing body of the local recreational facilities in Stewartstown (Hopewell Township) including:  the community center; batting cages; playground; sports fields; tennis and basketball courts; concession building; scout house; and pavilion.

Maize Quest Pennsylvania

Here’s a fun family adventure located at Maple Lawn Farms in New Park, just east of Stewartstown in Southern York County. You challenge mazes created from different materials (like corn, uh, maize), with varying levels of difficulty. This is a great family fun or group outing. Visit their website for more information.

Pleasant Valley Golf Club

Built in 1963, Pleasant Valley is an 18-hole, family owned, public golf facility with a fully-stocked golf shop, practice putting green, snack bar and dining room. Breakfast and lunch are served daily, in season.
