Harlem Wizards Coming to Town

Event description:

SHS will host two basketball games on Friday, February 24, to benefit Jennifer Striebig, a SHS student who is currently on kidney dialysis and awaiting a kidney transplant. The first game, which begins at 5:30 p.m., features SHS students vs. the school staff. The second game, beginning at 7:00 p.m., pits school staff against the Harlem Wizards team. Games will be played in the SHS gym. Cost is $10 a ticket for advanced sales (available in all of our District schools) and $12 at the door.

The Harlem Wizards are one of the greatest show-teams ever. During each event they offer a rare combination of individual athleticism, teamwork, entertainment, and community involvement. While theatrics, tricks, and alley-oops are part of the show, every game is filled with surprises.
