We went the 1st Friday they were open.  The service and food were very good.  Pretty much like Mason Dixon and the old Shrewsbury Family Resturant.  Friends of mine went for breakfast and said it was good.  Try it out - something different for a change.

Been there three times—once too crowded to be seated.  Seems like a big, big improvement over Sunny Side Up though maybe not quite as good as the Shrewsbury Family Restaurant in its heyday.  The food was good both times I ate—both dinner.  Excellent menu with good choices and prices seemed fair.  Atmosphere is pleasant and a little spruced up from SSU and way spruced up from SFR.  It is worth a try.  I have also been eating more at Taylor Haus for dinner and find it much better than it was a few years ago.

Anything is a step up from Sunny Side Up…

They were nice the last time I was there (about two months ago), food wasn’t though.

Haven’t been to the new one in Shrewsbury yet but the new one in Felton is pretty good. Mediterraneo, it’s an italian place but better than some of the other ones around imo...and decent prices as well.

Mediterraneo in Felton, it’s pretty much the only business in Felton. If you’re coming in from Cross Roads it’s right after you cross the bridge on the left, right at the end of Main St. You can’t really miss it no matter what direction you come from though, there’s about 2 whole roads in Felton, lol.

Before that it was a really overpriced restaurant with bad food and service called Felton Country Corner if I remember correctly. Before that an antique store, and long ago I vaguely remember it being a Dodge dealer. I hope this restaurant stays, so far it seems really good and appears to be doing great business.

The New Freedom Coffee Shop was very good. The service was good it was crowded but the food still came in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant was a little loud but it was still ok. As for the Shrewsbury Family Festaurant I never got a good meal and I stoped going because of it and I tryed it many times. The breakfast was ok, but that was where it ended.

I did not know about the restaurant in Felton but I will have to try it. Thanks for the info.

I THINK it was A H Grove & Sons Plymouth/Chrysler dealer in the 50’s and 60’s.

I went to Tayor Hauss shorly after we moved to the area (about 12 years ago) and again with family about 7 years ago.  Both times the waitresses were crabby and made me feel like I was intruding by being there.  haven’t gone back since.

We went to the Taylor Hause this morning for breakfast and our waitress was extremely pleasant.  And the food was too!
