LOVE THIS THREAD - THANK YOU - so nice to read good stuff for a change.

MARKG - where is your subshop located in New Park?  Please let us know the opening date and location so we can welcome you and buy stuff!!

The old Gatchellville Store, A.K.A. - Cedar Valley Pizza.  I am hoping to open by the end of the month.  Things are progressing nicely, I think.  We are going to have some seating for the first time in over 80 years, so that is exciting and the place will have a whole new look.  I am doing a scratch bakery with donuts, pastries, cakes and cookies made fresh on site.  We will also have pizza, subs and daily specials.

When I open up I am going to post a special out there for everyone on the SYC Life Forum.  Keep an eye out and I will see you soon!

Mark

please hurry!! We (GF and I) are in need of a good pizza/sub fix. went to messina’s last wednesday and the food was just horrible.

Thanks for the positive thread. I would love to see a news cast of the same sort or Good News.com. There are many wonderful things out there, unfortunately we are bombarded with the ugly. Can’t wait for a new food place and bakery is right up my alley.

Glad to see all the posts on this thread!!  Looking forward to trying the pizza/sub/bakery shop when it opens.  Tonight, I think I will positively enjoy a soak in the hottub outside while it is snowing.

I just returned from my first cruise.  I am glad I was on the 7-mile beach on Grand Cayman instead of here in the ice storm.

OK, back to the POSITIVE THREAD......What a BEAUTIFUL Sunday!!!  After the gloom outside (not to mention in some threads, lol) It’s nice to see the sun, even if only for a minute.....Last indoor soccer game of the season AND starting next week, I finally found someone willing to give my 6 (almost 7) year old GUITAR LESSONS!!  YAY!  “HAPPY THOUGHTS”: enjoying my coffee while the sun shines in, SOON will be able to open the windows and spring cleaning is NOT too far!!  YAY again!!  Hope everyone has a fantastic last day to the weekend!!!

Yeah it is great outside, my friendly lil pheasant is taking in the sun in our backyard. He started coming around 2 weeks ago. this morning he was sitting on our back porch right outside the door.
