I rarely if ever watch the Sunday News shows, but I was watching Meet the Press just now and our glorious Governor was on singing Hillary’s praises.  I think he is bucking for a cushy cabinet post.

Anyway Russert asked him and question and addressed him as the “Governor of Philadelphia” to which Rendell said, “Oh you have got me in trouble now!”

Russert said what most of us think.

I usualy don’t watch Meet the Press either but I saw it too.  He is the governor of Phila.  as far as I am concerned. He has a lot of favors to payback to the officials in that city. He is not concerned about us little ones in south part.

Until now, I don’t think I ever thought about Rendell for a second smile

I was appalled by his comments a few weeks ago regarding the rural conservative folk who will have a problem voting for a black man.  He’s pretty out of touch because the only people I’ve heard making comments about voting for a black man have been democrats.  Please don’t jump on me, I’m just saying, any conservatives I have discussions with talk about the issues and experience, none so far have brought up race.  But some of my coworkers and family who are crats, throw it up everytime.  They say America is not ready for a black President.  I think Rendell did get it right, he just needed to replace the word conservative with bigots.  It would actually make me feel better to hear that others aren’t hearing the same thing in their conversations.  That’s funny, Gov of Philadelphia.  LOL!

I haven’t even heard the topic come up in various discussions I’ve had about the presidential candidates.  I think in this day and age, it should be about a person’s abilities, not race or gender.

That said, I wouldn’t vote for either of the democrats running and I never have voted for Spendell, the Gov of Philly!
