So I took the GF, sister, and her parents to Messina’s last night for dinner (told ya I’d still go back cheese ) and noticed they are having karaoke night again. Where on earth do they do this at?? Doesnt seem like they could get many folks in there for it. Has anyone gone to this? Was it enjoyable? I for one am not into that, but I think its great to see them trying to get a nightlife going in this town!! So I guess kudos to them for that.

So I had a cheesesteak sub and a few yuenglings (draft). We all split some wings (which I never had there before) and they were pretty good (not as good as the ones the night before, but good). They messed up my GF and her sister’s pizza, they ordered White pizza, but they made a regualr. So they had to remake it and everyone was almost done eating by the time they got it. You know I never understood the concept of white pizza, its just weird to me.

Oh by the way: If any employees from there are reading this, you may want to plug the air freshner back it. I unplugged it, it was very overpowering after a few minutes raspberry

Best of luck with future karaoke nights!!!

THIS POST IS NOT ON HERE (THIS TIME) FOR EVERYONE TO RESPOND AND START BASHING MESSINA’S.

No idea. I am stuck on why would anyone pay for a ticket to go to Karakoe night? Don’t most places do that for free? I think I read the sign right, that they were charging for tickets. Odd.

I assume that they are doing it in the basement of that building. It is a really large area down there. That is where they use to hold the parties for the local soccer teams.

Yeah, we thought the same thing.  Most bars do it for free because they make up the $$ in drinks.  I don’t know that I’d ever pay for karaoke, but hey, that’s just me.  Good luck to them!

Pay for karaoke? Yeah ummm, no.

But if anyone wants to pay the door charge to support some local music this Friday at the Tourist Inn.... :D

Same thought, still puzzled. Drawing them in is first and the residual sales is what you are looking for...drinks, some food. If it really gets going then tickets could cover prizes if it is a competition. I have seen some mighty serious folks about Karaoke but I just dont see a ticket thing covering a casual new idea. Oh well, my bewilderment will pass grin

white pizza is the only pizza a person who is allergic to tomatoes (my wife) can eat. this “air freshener” you mentioned...does it give of a fragrance? she’s also allergic to fragrances.
