Just an FYI - my son had baseball practice yesterday over at the fairgrounds and he and my husband both came home with dog poop on their cleats.  Sure would be nice if those who walk their dogs were a bit more considerate!  Yes, I know , it could have been a stray.........

My son had baseball practice there yesterday too but, I think his cleats are fine.  Thanks for the warning.  I will have to remember to check his shoes.  My dad took him to practice yesterday so I will let him know too.

People need to remeber to take plastic bags with them when they walk their dogs.  While I rarely venture out of my own yard with my dogs, when I do, I always take a couple of bags along.

AMEN!!!  Nothing irrates me more!  It would be even nicer if they would pick up after their dogs when the dog goes on my front lawn.

Stewartstown Borough Ordinance 2001-005.  Pooper scooper law.  It is required that when traversing public or private property, the owner of an animal immediatly any feces left by the animal.  Fines are minimum of $300 and a max of $500.

Personally, I’d much rather pick up poop with a plastic bag then be faced with a hefty fine!

Ha, ha, nope.  No pun intended.  ; )

Does anyone know what if anything will be available to the local rec leagues? Are these fields baseball,soccer,football or whatever? Who is the contact for more info?
