Does anyone know why Ben Franklin Craft Store on Market Street closed? Did they move or just close? I guess Michael’s craft store by the Galleria Mall is the closest one now.

There is also an AC Moore on Route 30 in the same shopping center as PetSmart.

I wish I had known, they probably had some great sales going on.

I was so upset about Ben Franklin closing that I almost cried.  It was one of my very favorite stores.  I could find things there that I couldn’t find anywhere else.  I use small (15-35 bulb) clear light strings inside my home all year around.  It was the only place where I could get the small sets any time of year.  Luckily, I went there a couple of weeks ago when they were almost cleared out and picked up 6 sets.  I always found the special votive holders that I like there too.  I do shop at Michaels, Joann’s and AC Moore too but, Ben Franklin was a nice mixture of decorative items, candles and craft supplies.  I will miss it.

No, they did not move as they were even selling their fixtures.  : (
