I stopped by Corry’s Barbershop today around 1:30 and it was closed. Then 4 other people stopped wondering if he was still open. I went by 3 times yesterday and gave up.
I like to support the local businesses, but may have to look into finding another barber. The others I talked to today were saying the same thing. In fact one said that they called information and they had no Corry’s Barbershop listed.
I just picked up my son at the bus stop at Saubels and I saw another person trying to go in for a haircut. That is at least six people I know of in the past 2 days. Makes you wonder
I stopped going when Wayne started to flake out a bit and Jackie left. Go to a place in Shrewsbury now, right by the Rutter’s. But will be leaving there as well as my barber there, is opening up his own shop.

Mane Street Station takes walk-ins. Most think that it caters to women only, but the stylists there are very versatile. A lot of men are clients there. Give them a try!!

Ok, I didn’t pay attention to this yesterday, now I get it, and that jives with what I overhead at Rutter’s this morning, that he won’t be around for at least 3-6 months. Very sad.
As an aside, I’ve been told that Brad (formerly of Steven’s Hair Design) has opened a new shop of his own, in the Miles Appliance strip mall North of Pizza Hut in Shrewsbury. Just another option.

Yeah AT LEAST 3-6, but the way it looks, it’ll probably be longer.
are there any other barbers in the immediate Stewartstown Area...in the couple months I have been here I have gone to the Hair Stop only because I could walk their on a Sat morning but I am looking for something cheaper...$14 to cut my hair which only takes 10 minutes(that comes out to $84 an hour)
