If you mean the skateboad shop it’s on Mill St next to Gordons. You might not want to skate over to though! LOL! Just a little humor to start the week out.
Isn’t it part of the mini-storage buildings? Last month someone came to council interested in putting a beer distributor in town and I’m pretty sure that was the building/location he was talking about. Maybe the skate shop is just a temporary use?

It’s in the front of the Mini Storage building. I don’t believe it’s short term. But, please DO NOT SKATE THERE unless you want a fine!!!! You can ride your bike there, though. CRAZY!!!!!!!!! It’s a great store and the owner is a wonderful guy.

I guess the poor guy didn’t do his research on the local ordances? I’m guessing he would have NEVER selected that as a location for a skateboard shop if it was going to set up parents/children with fines? BTW-Is the child/parent giving a warning about not allowed to skateboard in a given area first or automatically fined?
Not sure how the fines are given out. You can skate in the parking lot of the skate shop. You just can’t skate to the skate shop. The ordinance actually bans roller skates, inline skates and scooters too. However, just Friday evening, a mom was walking behind her daughter who was riding a skooter down the hill on Mill Street. A police officer cruised right by her and didn’t stop and say anything. Pretty sure it was the same office that pulled the skater over a few weeks back, and ironically enough, it was the same exact spot the skater got pulled over. I’m hoping that perhaps the “Sk8 Police” thread made the officer think before pulling the little kid over. I hope that the officer isn’t just targeting skaters, which is what most of the skaters think. I’ve heard several of them (ranging from 6 years old to 36 years old) say that they think the cops just don’t like skaters and never see them stopping the kids on scooters. That may not be the case, but it sure did appear that way Friday evening. I don’t know!

I guess the “skaters” are the bad boys of Stewartstown. He, he!! A poor little 6 year old shouldn’t have to worry about the police going after him for skating! Seriously, who was responsible for writing this ordanence? V/R, KATY
Dang folks. The law is the law. If you dont like it, go to the borough council and see what it would take to change it. The police are going to do thier best to enforce the laws as they need to. Some people here seem to have a very personal grudge against the Stewartstown police force. All I can say is that you should be happy you have them. It wasnt so long ago that the borough police were pretty much a joke.

I would not be able to attend since my work day is non-traditional and my commute is quite long. Is there anything I can do to participate to make a change? Is change an option? V/R, KATY
