Great fireworks last night.  It was probably one of the best I’ve seen in a while.

I agree with those who enjoyed the fireworks, they were just great. This is just another reason that we don’t mind supporting as many of the non profits in the Stewartstown area as we can. Somehow they always manage to give back to the community. Many thanks to HARP the Stewartstown VFW,STEWARTSTOWN LEGION ,STEWARTSTOWN LIONS CLUB & the EUREKA VOL. FIRE DEPARTMENT & all of the volunteers that gave their time freely. In case you haven’t noticed these are the kind of people that made this a great country. Thanks again for a great show & GOD BLESS YOU ALL & KEEP YOU SAFE.

I too think that the fireworks were great last night.  The family and I went to Bel Air to watch fireworks on Fri night and I must say we all agreed that Stewartstown’s was by far wayyyyy better.  We even had better traffic control than in Bel Air.  For a small town like ours I was really impressed by the way the town cleared out so quickly with so many people in one area.

Stewartstown’s fireworks were great last night!  They started off strong, and had had an incredible finale.  I was really impressed, and IMHO they bested New Freedom for the second year in a row.

since this is Stewartstown.com

This is not stewartstown.com(anymore) although a lot of the posting comes from that area.

I knew that he wasn’t talking about Stewartstown’s fireworks. Not everything posted in here revolves around Stewartstown.

or SESD…

The Stewartstown fireworks were great.  We can see them from the top of our backyard which is so cool.  We had a party and some of guests came from Emmitsburg, MD, Marlton, NJ, York, PA, Lancaster, PA, Sykesville, MD, No. Balt. Co. & Reading, PA.  Everyone thought the fireworks were great and they were all impressed that our little town could put on such a good show.

We’ve always been impressed with the way traffic clears out.  Coming from <gasp!> the Baltimore area, we always watched fireworks at my in-laws.  Afterwards, it would take almost 45 mins to go 2 miles up Merritt Blvd.  Here, 10 mins and it’s gone.  Maybe because everyone’s going in different directions??

By far better, we see both every year and always love Stewartstown’s.

I think its more likely that there are 20,000 less people attending the show.  grin

I saw the New Freedom fireworks on Thursday and then Catonsville, MD’s fireworks on Friday, and was so impressed with Stewartstown’s on Saturday.  Catonsville is known for having fantastic fireworks, and they really did.  However, we saw the same quality right in this little town.  It was fantastic!  Catonsville went a bit longer, but it also took a half hour to get in and an hour to get out, so this was far more enjoyable. Congrats to everyone in charge of the event.  It really was AWESOME!
