I saw the aftermath of a bad accident late Wed. afternoon (car plowed into tree) at the bend on Plank.

Does anyone know if the driver is ok?

Both occupants of the vehicle were out upon our arrival and were evaluated at the scene. One was transported to the hospital and the other did not need further treatment. They were very lucky in not striking the “large” tree head on!

Thanks Chief.  It looked to me as though they did strike the tree.  Thanks for clarifying.

The vehicle did in fact hit the tree, however it was the rear end.
