a correction: the borough council did not provide the haunted house at the borough building. the borough employees did. they spend their free time and, i might add, their own money (they’ve refused to take money offered by the council) to bring this wonderful service to the kids of stewartstown. thanx.

AirportFireFighter:

You are funny… and absolutely right.  I say keep the holidays where they are.  They’re hard enough to schedule around as it is.  Honestly though, some people have a problem with Halloween.  My daughter received a flyer last Halloween (instead of candy) and it told her that she was basically a Satan worshipper for going out to trick or treat.  What is up with that folks???

I apologize for jumping to conclusions Guy. Still, the borough council needs to be thanked for granting permission to borough employees to put on a neat display for the kids for Halloween.

Please convey my thanks to the borough employees who invested their time and own money for doing this. smile
