I am not trying to defend the person who was mentioned in the article. I am however looking at the situtation from an objective viewpoint.
From what I have read it was an innocent oversight on the person’s part. Thus I don’t see where there would be a need to grease anyone’s palms before the case is closed.
As for the possibility of additional traffic citations that might be written I don’t see what this has to do with the situation as it is not a borough matter but a matter between the parties involved in the district attorney’s office. If additional traffic citations are written it is most likely due to the poor driving habits of people on the increase in the area who violate the motor vehicle code. The person issuing the citation is merely doing their job.
