Anyone using an alternative GAS or Electric Supplier?

I was wondering about your experiences (Good or bad) with any of the PA Choice Suppliers.

Thanks in advance

I’ve used Dominion’s “Peoples Plus” plan for almost a year.  No problems, and it does save money over Columbia Gas.

Their website is http://www.dom.com/about/companies/retail/columbia_peoples.jsp

Phone number is 1-800-903-0380.  I don’t know their current rates per CCF, I’m paying $.659.

Do you pay a distribution charge to Columbia?
Or any charge for that matter.

I guess I am asking if .659 is the total cost for the delivery of a CCF to your home.

Thanks,
Craig

The $.659 per CCF is for the gas supply.  Your “gas company” - Columbia in our case - takes care of the distribution including upkeep of the infrastructure.  And charge the rest.  I’d do some shopping around, try Shipley’s deal and so forth.
