That McDonalds is horrendous.  The service is slooooow and the food is baaaad (even for a McDonalds).  We simply don’t go there anymore.  Arby’s is the place for us.

One incident that pops to mind is the happy meal that I bought for my son that had no burger.  Oh sure, it had a bun.  It had mustard.  It had ketchup and even a pickel.  but NO BURGER.  So after waiting 20 minutes to get our order filled (and i you’ve been there, you know thats not an exagerration) I had to once again fight my way to the front of the line to get a burger.  The guy at the counter went back, grabbed a new burger off the shelf… then turned aroung and started working the fries while holding the burger.  I had to let out a rather ignorant whistle to get his attention and my burger.

The problem is, ALL the locals could stop going to that McD’s and they wouldn’t notice.  Because of their location, I’d venture that at least 80% of their traffic is one time stops from people travelling in I-83.

yes i agree.  I have had several dissapointing experiences at this McDonalds.  First one time while i was waiting inline to order this irrate lady came up to the counter screaming.  Apparently some kid kicked her kid in the face while playing in the ball room, and she was yelling and threatening to press charges.  Actually thinking back it was somewhat funny.

Anyways second, one saturady very late me and some friends where coming back from towson around 1-2a.m.  We went to see a sublime tribute concert “badfish”.  Anyways we stopped there and i was like oh good there is only one car in the drive-thru.  These people took like 10-15 minutes.  So I yelled out of the car window to hurry up, and they began screaming profanities.  They had MD license plates.  Then after we got our food we parked and they circled around and parked next to us.  And this girl got out with her i’m assuming older brother, and there all we aint from pennsylvania we don’t play those pa games.  anyways i wont elaborate anymore.

Third I have recently moved to york and go to the McDonalds on south george street sometimes.  Anyways i have always found the staff there to be very unfriendly, making smart ass remarks.  Its not my freakin fault they work there.  Then one day i ordered a ummm cripsy chicken sandwich, and there was like this advertisement in the bag to take a phone survey.  They promised 5 $ compensation for my time.  3-4 weeks was the expected mailing time.  That time has come and gone, i called there customer service line many times.  No freakin help there.

Mcdonalds is an evil corporation who does not care about its consumers, only about greed.  Do you ever stop and think how much it costs them to make that food, i bet 30-50 cents tops.  Has anyone watched that movie “supersize me” ?

About two nights ago, I went in for some coffee.  They were out of coffee and I had to wait for it to be made.  The place was a disaster!  Food and Garbage was all over the floor.  Trash bins were over flowing.  The behind the counter area was dirty as well.  It was so bad, That I asked to speak to the Manager.
When the manager arrived, I expressed that the place needed cleaning.  He acknowledged my statement and then went back to the office.  It was clear that nothing was going to be done.  I dialed the 800 number to file a complaint.  While I was pushing buttons to get to talk to a person. The manager was out in the seating area (not cleaning) and started yelling at an employee (who was in street clothes).  He yelled about an ‘F#%#ing’ shift!  Two small children were eating with parents in the booth behind him.  I heard this all the way across the seating area.  This really pushed me over the edge. I continued the call into MCD line and filed the complaint on the spot!  The person who took the call was professional and forwarded it directly on to the regional office.  I got an email within an hour from MCD office.  I also got a followup phone call the following day.  They are going to check the audio/video tape to confirm.  The response from the complaint line was exceptional.  We will see if anything changes. I also pointed the MCD regional rep to this week site for additional information.

I suggest that if you have any problems, just call the 800 number.  I know we should not have to “solve” the problems.  However, if we want a clean and professional place we need to point it out.

Just an FYI, I wore out the 800 number the last couple years before I stopped going in. I gave them my real name, phone number and address so they could call me if they needed further information and not to mention the free coupons when I complained about the food quality. At one point I was on a first name basis with one of the ladies there. Nothing never seemed to change. I pretty much gave up calling.

I have not walked in or have taken my kids inside that McDonald’s for almost a year. The last time I went in, it was dirty period. Tables, floor and trash, no soda lids, no napkins etc… The topper was that there was 1 Girl working the register taking about 3-4 orders and running for food while 4 others were standing by the Drive-Thru window shooting the breeze. Totally oblivious to the girls predicament and the stores needs. No Management in sight.

Personally, I don’t think they can get the support staff whether its Managers who feel they are above working, the good employees getting over worked and leaving, or the kids who have been made to get a job but are not willing to do anything with it.

My last couple Drive-Thru experiences have been OK though.

The number I called was on the cups, but this is listed on their website. Maybe we should all pick a day/time and call them. Strength in numbers etc…

No problem penn. Maybe I’ll give a call tomorrow for old times sake and we’ll see if there’s any change because of the number of the complaints they receive in a day.

How about everyone else who has a complaint? Get a chance, call the 800 number that is above tomorrow and lets see if we can make a difference. I highly doubt anything will change, but if they receive 5-10 complaints maybe it will open an eye or two.

Well I just got off the Phone…

Did you know McDonald’s gift cards can be used at 95% of McDonald’s? Why not 100% I have no clue

A person by the name of and I know I’ll screw this up Jibilase took my information. She wanted specifics and not general, “your most recent visit” She took my Information, Name, Number and Address(again) and said she would forward my complaint to the Area Supervisor. She said they may want to contact me so she wanted to know my best time available to be reached.

It’s Deja Vu all over again

Yeah its on their recorded message…
Unfortunately I know the answer. It’s about franchising.
The McDonald’s in Hunt Valley is not a corporate store, he does what it wants when he wants. They sell Hash Browns 2 for $1 and you can get a second one with your value meal for 25 cents. A few years back when they had Big Macs and Fish Sandwiches 2 for $2 he did not do the sale. I called Corp to Complain and they said they can’t make him adhere to the sale. I also complained about why other McDonalds didn’t follow his Hash Brown policy and they said it wasn’t their policy. Of course he relented to the 2 for $2 sale after he received complaint after complaint.
