Are there any reasonably priced computer tech types that will come to your home in the Stewartstown area and fix a computer?  I have called “Geeks on Call” but their rates are very high—upwards of $300.  I think a knowledgeable technician could fix this problem in an hour.  Any recommendations?

there’s a company there at messina’s plaze.  it like computek or something.  i saw their computer ambulance there the other day.  for 300 you can almost by a new one.

When my hard disk crashed on a Friday I drove up to Messina Plaza to get Computech’s number off of their van, called them and left a message on their machine.  Meanwhile, I called several numbers out of the phone book and was told they were too busy.  On Saturday, I reached a young guy who runs his own company called Associated Computer Services (244-2898) in Dallastown.  He came out that same day and had my computer back to me the following day, Sunday.  He was very professional and reasonably priced.  Meanwhile, Computech called me back four days later on Wednesday.
