Aside from all of the other issues that the families involved in the Amish school shootings are dealing with, I am sure they are facing some substantial medical bills.  And I am sure they do not have the money to pay those bills.  I read a quote from an Amish bishop saying that while they cannot and will not ask for donations, they will with humility accept them.  Does anyone know how to go about making donations?  Has anyone heard anything about anyone collecting?

We are currently constructing a larger office in the village center. Turkey Hill Minit Markets will make a donation to the Nickel Mines Amish community. In addition, the Lancaster County-based company will collect donations from customers and employees through Nov. 1 at all 238 stores. The corporate donation, as well as those from customers and employees, will be provided directly to the Amish families to cover medical expenses and materials for a new schoolhouse.

My apologies for not posting this information a couple of days ago.

I have started another topic mentioning where to send condolence messages to the family and support messages to the Bart Township Fire Company who was the first to respond to the call and arrive at the scene at the Southern York County All Forum.
