I visited “The Moving Wall” early this evening and it is definitely a sight to see!  It looks beautiful in day and evening with the floodlights shining on it. A true masterpiece!

There were a couple of military guys who were very helpful in assisting me in making tracings of friends who lost their lifes in the Vietnam War.

The public is welcome to lay flowers, photos, etc. in front of the panel that lists their deceased family member, friend, etc.

The day “The Moving Wall” is to be disassembled all photos, etc. left will be delicately packaged up and taken to the main “Moving Wall” located in Washington D.C. to be permanently displayed and placed in front of the panel that lists the deceased family member, friend, etc.

Sunday evening was the last opportunity for anyone to see “The Moving Wall” at night! WOW! I’m speechless! What a work of art! The way the lights were set up the replica looks exactly like the real one! It is definitely a sight to behold!

Monday, October 9th is the last day to see “The Moving Wall.” At 4PM Monday it will be disassembled and move on to another community! The last time “The Moving Wall” was in York county was in 1995! It’s not easy getting “The Moving Wall” displayed in a community! There is a lot of bureaucratic red tape to go through that takes several months.

If you haven’t seen it please take the time from your busy schedule to do so! You won’t regret it!
