It shows his true colors though… he has fought against raising the sales tax for property tax relief on the grounds that it would drive away business from PA. Now what does he do??? He tries raise the sales tax to make up for the gambling shortfall on property tax relief.
Gee, no one saw that shortfall coming did we?
WOW! I thought I was the only one who picked up on that. Who knew he had already planned on using the money?
It’s going to be tough to slay this dragon, but, at some point, government ought to stop trying to be all things to all people and do the things that it is tasked by law (constitution) to do.
And here I was upset earlier this year when an outgoing state legislator wanted to apply the sales tax to presently untaxed goods and services to lower tuition at Penn State.
