Perhaps I can solicit some free advice.
I change the filter, spark plug and oil yearly on my push mower. It’s on its second blade - tried to cut a metal pipe on my lawn once (it sticks out of the ground, wasn’t paying attention, etc
The mower is on its 6th year.
Anyhow, the first start or two of the season is an exercise in patience. Is there anything one can do to make it less of a crap shoot as to when it starts and holds versus a good start the first time - besides cranking it over weekly during the winter? I do run the gas as low as possible on the last cut of the season and make sure its filled with fresh gas come spring…
Thanks
