The 19th annual Community All Saints’ Day Service, a worship and remembrance service organized by J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, will be 7 p.m. November 1st at the Stewartstown Presbyterian Church, 16 College Ave., Stewartstown.

More than 20 clergy and lay leaders representing churches in southern and southeastern York and northern Baltimore and Harford counties will participate in the interfaith service, which revisits the ancient Christian holy day following All Hallows Eve and memorializes those locally who have died during the last year.

The public is invited to attend. During the service, nearly 400 individuals will be remembered as their names are called aloud in prayer. Refreshments and a time for fellowship will follow the service.

This year’s service, “Living Into Life,” will be given by the Rev. Dr. Peggy Click, pastor at Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Parkton, Md. Special music will be offered by vocalists Valerie and April Wheatley, violinist Kara Klein, and the handbell choirs of Stewartstown Presbyterian and Stewartstown United Methodist churches.
