Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding someone (from the Stewartstown area) who provides landscaping services/design and could build a small retaining wall?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

After a huge debacle with a local guy who was the subject of many a forum thread here, we enlisted Stonewall Landscaping for help in corrections/completions of our patio, walkway and retaining walls (as well as a a built in grill).  They were reasonably priced and did the job quickly and (most importantly) correctly.  We’ve not had any problems with the portions that they completed.

I would recommend Landscaping Services, Inc out of New Park.  Noah Price is the owner’s name.  He has done landscaping for me several times.  Excellent work at fair prices.  His number is 717-382-1159.

Hey Jack Straw, I wanted to let you know that my boyfriend does hardscapes.  He’d be happy to give you a free estimate.  He worked for Mid-Atlantic in Stewartstown and did several retaining walls and stone/slate/brick patios.  He really enjoys that kind of work, and I think he does a fantastic job.  He has a picture of the last wall he did for Mid-Atlantic that he could bring along.  We live right in Stewartstown.  Hit me back if you’d like his contact info.  These walls are really expensive, and most of the cost is labor.  I guarantee you’ll pay him 1/2 of what a big company would charge.
