Does anyone know whether they are going to hold the basketball camp at K-D this year for the little ones?  I have not seen anything come home yet.

I’m interesting in knowing about the bball camp too - what ages is it for?  Can you add me to the PM too or just post to the board?

The basketball summer camp is june 16 through the 19 and it is at kennard dale high school. I will get back to you with the time. They usually divide the kids up. I will re-post as soon as I can get that info and I will also check on the ages for you mom2jj. We are holding a basket bingo to help raise funds for SEYBO which is who puts this camp on. So please purchase a ticket to help support this wonderful program. The bingo is on May 17 at Kennard dale caffateria starting at 5 pm I have tickets if you are interested.

To the best of my knowledge, youth basketball camps are actually organized and directed by the high school basketball coaches not the youth program. There is a boys camp and girls camp, 2 separate weeks.  My daughter will be going.  I think the grades are from 2nd grade and up.

Will they, or have they already, sent home registrations at the elementary school?

No I don’t think they have yet.  I would expect them to be sent out soon though.  Boys camp is 3rd week of June, girls camp will probably be the following week.

Yes it is organized by the high school coach but he also sits on the youth board and that is where i received my info. and to my knowledge nothing has been sent home yet. when it does I will be glade to let you know. and yes the boy’s basketball camp is set for June 16 to the 19th.

Any news on when the registration forms are going to be available?  My son never brings home handouts from school.  Would it be possible to add it to the SEYBO website?

I know the felling my kids never bring anything home I will find out asap when the camp is and where you can get a registration for from. sometimes the school will not send things home they will make them avalible but my son never hears the announcment to come to the office to pick up the papers so I will check and re post what I find out. I will also see if they will be adding it to the SEYBO website. Thanks for your intrest.

That website is for the boys basketball camp.  Any word on a girls camp?

My daughter told me there isn’t going to be a girls camp this year.  Not sure why.

Was trying to find the closest thread possible for what i am looking for.....my son is interested in basketball (7) but unfortunately, i kno more about other sports and have no clue what time of year basketball is played....OR where/when to sign him up.....any info for a 7year old, please let me know!!!!
