Does anyone know if there will be fireworks in Stewartstown on July 4th this year?  We had just bought our house last year and thought it was cool that we could see the fireworks from our backyard!  Thanks! cheese

Yes, there will be fireworks again this year.  I believe it will be the evening of the 4th.  New Freedom is having theirs at midnight on the 3rd. cheese

DareCop - with regards to fireworks, what is allowed for personal enjoyment in Stewartstown? I see various noise makers and fountains in the stores for sale. Are there any restrictions on arials, like bottle rockets or mortars?

This may be the best holiday except for maybe christmas and we tend not to dampen anyone’s enjoyment however, if we would receive noise complaints we will ask the parties responsible to tone it down a bit.  If there is illegal items such as fire crackers, m-80’s and things that rock your neighbor’s house that is will definitly have us asking alot of questions.  Other than that enjoy the Holiday and be safe. cheese
