The York County chapter of the Campaign For Liberty (http://www.campaignforliberty.com) will be having Peg Luksik, candidate for US Senate, at their normal monthly meeting on November 5th at 7pm. She will be there to speak and then answer any questions you may have.

The meetings are held in the conference room at the Hampton Inn in Shrewsbury (I-83/Rte 851). Our chapter of the Campaign for Liberty is committed to making sure that the community is educated about those running for office. We are a non profit and non partisan organization. We do not endorse candidates for office due to our organization’s tax status.

We will also be holding a judicial candidates debate on October 23rd at 7pm at York College (room to be announced) for the four candidates running for the York County Court of Common Pleas. Information to be posted soon.

I am familiar with Peg Luksik from when she ran for PA governor.  I believe she is for the people and the Constitution.  She is running for US Senate against Specter.  If you aren’t familiar with her and have some time, the York Co. chapter of Campaign for Liberty posted a video of her addressing the group in Nov.  Here’s the link:  http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xb2ihr_peg-luksik-for-us-senator_news

I know Peg Luksik personally and remember when she ran for PA governor against Tom Ridge and a democratic candidate. Gubnertorial candidate Tom Ridge who was a congress critter at the time, (As a congressman, he suppoted and voted for NAFTA. By the way his office received 200 phone calls from constituents requesting he vote “No” to NAFTA and received only 1 phone call from a constituent requesting he vote “Yea” to NAFTA. So much for his doing the will of the people eh?) contacted Peg Luksik and requested that she withdraw from the gubnertorial race. He offered a job as part of his administration to head up the Department of Education. She declined as most people know. Peg became popular because of her presentations of O.B.E. a/k/a Outcome Based Education a/k/a in my opinion as “Our Brains Our Empty!” It was Anita Hoag who first discovered O.B.E. and what changed implementing it would bring to our public school system. It wasn’t going to be a positive change that’s for sure! Anita was a petite quiet young woman whom Peg Luksik met. Peg realized the importance of distributing information about O.B.E. to as many parents who had children in the public school system throughout the state as possible. Peg took the show on the road and Anita remained on the home front.

I’m sure York county will see Peg Luksik a few more times while she is on the campaign trail seeking election to the U.S. Senate seat which term expires this year.
