In the interest of trying to keep things local, I am looking for a good tile installer.  I am going to do my bathroom and laundry room first, with Kitchen toe ventually follow.  I am looking to buy the tiles, and have someone else install.  ANyone know anyone in or around town that does this? question

Bill’s Floor Center in New Freedom does excellent tile work.  Many of the local builders use them to do their floors.  A buddy of mine put an addition on to his house and used Bill’s to install ceramic tile.  It looks awesome!

Try Helf The Carpetman, 700 W. Market Street, 846-2000 and ask for Michael Helf. They also have a web site http://www.helfthecarpetman.com

Another place is To The Trades, 2430 E. Market Street, 755-2851 and ask for Patrick.

Both have an excellent display of tiles and carpeting and do excellent work. Prices are very reasonable and quality is outstanding.

Both are family run businesses. Customer service is unbeatable. They were nominated by the public and were selected as York County’s best business for carpeting and tiles.

in my opinion, you can’t beat Burkins. so far, they’ve done the floors in my kitchen, 1st floor bathroom, second floor bathroom, and the tile counter-tops in the kitchen. their prices and their workmanship are the best.

Try K&M;Home Center in Loganville.  They’ve got some of the best prices and installers around.  Plus Mr. Kern the owner is a Christian.

And this means?  That non-Christians do poor work?  Interesting, since I didn’t see religious values as prerequisite for the selection criteria. “Local” and “good tile installer” appear to be the relevant requests.  Hmmm… perhaps I should fire my Jewish Carpenter.
