The RAMS got new helmets this year. Whomever was in charge of ordering them must have gone to the University of Michigan because the RAMS are now sporting WOLVERINE helmets!! I can’t even imagine how we came up with this design. I know this seems a little petty but with the school, the students and the community all becoming participants in RAM PRIDE why would the helmet design go completely in a different direction?? Prior helmets at least had K-D on them. If were going to copy team helmet design wouldn’t the hemets reflect our mascot better with RAMS horns on them?? You know, like St. Louis!! Or maybe they could have just put “RAMS” on them in gold. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to look for that Wolverine mascot running along the sidelines..
But we better be careful and keep an eye on the 7-8 team because Wolverines can kill and eat small RAMS!!!!
