York County Director of Elections and Voter Registration, Nikki Suchanic and York County Solicitor, Michael Flannelly will be making a presentation entitled “So You Want to Run for Office.”
The first presentation will take place in the York County Commissioners Meeting Room, 28 East Market Street, 2nd Floor, York, PA on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
The second presentation will take place at the Paul Smith Library, 80 Constitution Avenue, Shrewsbury, PA on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
The presentation will be approximately one hour in length and will cover a variety of topics regarding election law and procedures. The presentation will be geared towards individuals wanting to run for municipal offices or school board seats.
