Hello Folks!

Most of you know by now that our friend, Wayne E. Schaefer, has been very sick for the last 4 months now (see http://www.wayne.stewartstown.com for details). Eureka is having a blood drive on Wednesday, November 10th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the fire station. The blood drive will be conducted by York Hospital. I would like to CHALLENGE all of Stewartstown, and the surrounding communities to come out and show your support for Wayne by giving the “gift of life”...BLOOD. Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment to THANK all of you who came out on 11/10/04 to donate blood in honor of Wayne. We had about 100 people show up!! A special thanks to Kim Wisnom for organizing this drive. I also want to thank our wonderful EUREKA AUXILIARY for assisting with refreshments during the event. We also want to thank Saubel’s Market for donating the donuts. The York Hospital staff did an OUTSTANDING job! This drive proved one thing, this community pulls together when called upon...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
