Just FYI,
Meyer’s installed the Rudd Achiever 90 Furnace in many of the homes in Poplar Springs and Stewartstown Station.
If this is your model, you might want to get an extra fuse.  The control board inside the furnace (Johnson Controls G961DAJ) uses a 3 amp Fuselite “E” fuse.
These are hard to find!  You might want to pick up one and store with your furnace.
Your furnace will not work with the fuse on the control board.  It can be a cold night for the cost of a $.30 fuse

Of course you should seek professional help if you do not completely understand the internal working of the furnace. 8)

You mentioned the fuses are hard to find. Would you please tell everyone where you purchased yours?

True Value.
I got the last box they had.  I also told them that Meyer’s Homes used these.  They said they would look into ordering more stock.  I would give hem a call and get them to order you some.

Maybe the question should be “why” is your fuse blowing? If you have the need to stock up on furnace fuses then maybe there is a problem? or better yet call Joe Myers to come and replace it at nite....like to hear that phone call! wink

I went to replace my thermostat with a programmable model.  I blew a fuse right away.
I discovered that the furnance was wired incorrectly!  All leads went to single posts, instead of the separate channels established for the H/AC/ElectroStatic Cleaner.
Just one of the small things that I have found!
If anyone need the documents for the Furnace and Internal control boards, just send me an email.  I have the web sites that you can download and print.
