Can anyone give me a safe, legal, music sight where i can dowload music? I’m assuming i can find some deals for about $30 a year. There are so many shady sights out there...just wanted to see if anyone has had any success with any partcular one. Thanks!

Try the link below, It’s all free music from tape-friendly bands.  I suggest Steve Kimock Band—probably one of the best guitarists I’ve ever heard.  Sorta-kinda like Duane Allman, but better.

PS:  Bring some serious bandwidth…

I haven’t tried any of them yet. Trying to decide which one to go with.

Here is a good Kimock show link, from 10/1/05, great quality on this show…

While Kimock is a super-talented guitarist, I have never heard him compared to Duane, so I can’t say any more about him being like Duane but better (biting tongue). Kimock does his own thing and does it well though.  Duane was a slide player extroidanaire, in my opinion the only people who have come close to that slide talent in the rock and roll genre have been Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, or Joe Bonamassa more recently, all are good bets for excellent slide guitar though, check them out as well.

Internet Archive focuses mostly on Jam Bands, with some funk, jazz and other stuff mixed in, great live quality shows in many cases though, and newer bands have shows up real quick in many cases.
