Stewartstown churches sponsor 9/11 event

Looking Back, Pressing Forward - A Southern York County Community Gathering of Remembrance & Appreciation

Time: 7:00 P.M.
Location: Kennard-Dale High School Auditorium in Fawn Grove, PA
Sponsors: The Churches of Stewartstown, PA

Everyone is invited on September 11, 2002 to Looking Back, Pressing Forward a community gathering of remembrance on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks on America.  The event is being held Wednesday, September 11 in the auditorium at Kennard-Dale High School.

The event will also allow the community the opportunity to show appreciation to the men and women of the various community fire and rescue squads, EMT’s, law enforcement, and active duty military personnel from our area. It is being sponsored by the Churches of Stewartstown.

In addition…

The following Stewartstown area churches will be open from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M on September 11th for prayer, meditation, and reflection:

Stewartstown Baptist Church (Route 851, 18631 Five Forks Road, 993-6382)
Stewartstown United Methodist Church (26 South Main Street, 993-2507)
Stewartstown Presbyterian Church (14 College Avenue, 851 East, 993-6278)
