Stewartstown.com revamps website

Posted by Dan Baldwin on 07/05/2000 at 02:05 AM

Even though it began life only 8 months ago, Stewartstown.com has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate and to prepare for planned improvements.

The new design makes several changes.  First, and most obvious, is a new look.  It is designed to work well at most popular screen resolutions and to give a polished, “finished” look.

Second, the home page contains headings and short summaries of articles, events, etc., rather than cramming in entire articles.  Links (such as the one that brought you here) take interested visitors to the full story.

Third, the navigation has been streamlined to make more options available from the home page.  It has also been divided into categories to make it easier to find the link you’re looking for.

Stay tuned for additional changes.  While not as dramatic in appearance as the major makeover, they will be just as important.  With the design changes out of the way, we can now focus on improving the content we provide.  We have several content enhancements under consideration.

Your feedback (good and bad) about the changes are appreciated.  We especially appreciate reports of problems with the new design that we may have missed.  Send feedback to webmaster@stewartstown.com.
